Liquid crypto-asset fund
Equation Finney is an open-ended investment fund set up to take advantage of the web 3.0 paradigm.

The fund was named after a man who has played a major role in the inception of this industry, Hal Finney. One of the few cypherpunks who has been cited in the Bitcoin whitepaper.

About a decade ago, a pseudonymous entity going by the name Satoshi Nakamoto, introduced a paper titled "Bitcoin: a peer to peer electronic cash system". This paper proposed a technology called blockchain, which for the first time, enabled the separation of trust and value.

In 2014, Ethereum implemented the concept of smart contracts using blockchain technology, which was a turning point for the space, enabling countless more functions for the asset-class than being mere belief-backed currencies. This allowed for the separation of trust and anything that required it.

We believe this technology will result in the abstraction of several systems and industries, causing a paradigm shift. Finney is dedicated to allocate capital to said shift.
